The problem

Discounts attract the wrong crowd. Apps get deleted.

You did not open your venue to compete on price. Discounting trains deal-hunters and cheapens the brand. Guests learn to wait for the offer instead of valuing the experience. And most loyalty apps disappear within weeks: the average active user rate at 30 days is around 6%. The tool you built to bring people back is the first thing they remove.

6%

of loyalty app users still active at 30 days. The rest deleted the app.

PassKit / Regulr, 2024

You did not open your place to compete on price. You opened it to build somewhere people belong. There is a way to run loyalty that does exactly that, and it lives in the wallet they already carry.

For your guests

Your customers stop being customers and start being members.

They walk in, scan once, and they are in. After that, every visit counts for something.

  • They earn as they go, when they spend, bring a friend, or back you online. The balance just grows.
  • Their status climbs and never slips. Silver to Black, earned and theirs to keep, so they protect it.
  • There is always a reason to return: a reward worth saving for, a fresh drop each week, and special things that open to their tier first.

73%

of high-value guests say being publicly acknowledged matters more to them than any private perk.

Uberman, VIP psychology study

You set the menu. Members spend their credit on what you choose — money off, a treat, an upgrade, an experience — and tier unlocks the perks. You hold the rulebook.

The community

They do not just come back. They bring their world.

A member meets someone they know, scans their pass once, and they are friends. The room starts connecting itself.

84%

of consumers trust a friend's recommendation over any advert.

Mention Me

Gifting

Friends can send each other points, with a note. It costs you nothing new, the points were already earned, and it brings the receiver back in to use them. Only spendable points move, never status, so it stays a gift, not a loophole.

Events

Members are invited to gatherings made for them, and they can see the ones a tier above, a standing reason to climb. You choose who is in, and the right people get the message and show up.

Leaderboard

There is a board, but a tasteful one. It shows who is in the top 10, the top 50, the top 100, never an exact place. A quiet nod to your regulars, not a contest. Each cycle they are thanked with points, your most active earn a little faster next, and anyone can stay anonymous.

A discount the place next door can copy tomorrow. A community it cannot.

Your side

Run it in a few minutes a week.

Two things are yours each week: set the next event, and refresh the rewards on offer. Everything else runs on a fixed set of rules, automatically. No marketing skills, no daily babysitting.

The messages and points do real work. A wallet message lands on the lock screen and gets read almost every time, so an invite or a thank-you is actually seen, not lost in email. At each month end every active member gets a warm thank-you and a small bonus, which is what makes them feel valued and come back. And surprise points arrive when someone hits a milestone, because the reward you did not expect is the one you remember.

Why Marbella

Built for this coast, not bolted on.

We did the homework on the Costa del Sol. The mechanics are tuned to how this market actually behaves: status over discounts, seasonal regulars, and a wallet in every pocket.

73%

Recognition is the product here.

On this coast the real product is the good table and the host who knows your name. Three in four high spenders value being recognised over any private perk. Discounts cheapen it; Marbs rewards status and access, what your guests actually pay for.

A wide-open category.

The Spanish loyalty market is heading past five billion, yet premium Costa del Sol venues run almost no structured loyalty, and the few that try keep it vague. You can be the first in your scene to do it properly.

~70%

No app, just the wallet.

Most guests already keep loyalty in the wallet they carry everywhere, and the wallet is fast becoming the loyalty homepage. Your pass installs in seconds, no app and no sign-up, and your messages land on the lock screen.

Built for the season.

Marbella roughly doubles to 400,000 people in summer, then empties for winter. Marbs holds status over the quiet months, so your summer regulars come back next June still Gold, never demoted for being away.

Do my customers need to download an app?
No. That is the whole point. Marbs lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, apps that are already on every iPhone and Android phone. Your guest scans a QR code, taps "Add to Wallet," and they are enrolled. No app store, no account creation, no email required.
What are marbs worth? Who decides?
You do, entirely. You set the earn rate (for example, 1 marb per 1 EUR spent, or 10 marbs per 1 EUR for a cafe) and tier raises that rate. Marbs are store credit for your venue: members spend them off a menu you set — money off, a treat, an upgrade, an experience — on a later visit. You hold the rulebook and we never dictate their value.
Is it hard to set up?
We do it with you. Every plan includes a guided setup session, typically around 30 minutes. We configure your wallet pass, set your earn rate, print your QR codes, and brief your staff. You go live the same day.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Apple Wallet on iPhone and Google Wallet on Android are both fully supported. Your guests use whichever wallet is already on their phone, no special hardware or software on your end.
Is my data, and my customers' data, safe?
Customer passes use anonymous IDs, not names or email addresses. We do not require personal data to enrol a customer. The system is designed to be GDPR-friendly from the ground up. Your customer data stays with you and is never sold or shared with third parties.
What happens if a customer loses their phone?
Their wallet pass is tied to their device wallet account. If they restore their phone or log into their wallet account on a new device, their pass and marb balance restore automatically through Apple or Google's standard wallet sync.
Can I use Marbs alongside my existing till or POS system?
Yes. Marbs is a standalone QR-based system. Staff open a simple web dashboard on any phone or tablet to log transactions. It works alongside any existing till. POS integrations are on the roadmap for later this year.
